I was inspired by the ancient Italian Ketubahs (17th century). The engraved bald eagle holding 13 arrows and olive branch symbolizes the the United States, and the window with Northern California landscape with clear blue sky symbolize the childhood background sights of the groom and the bride. The shape of the Hebrew and English text symbolizes the 10 commandments. Vines wrapped around the victorian columns, colorful contrasted flowers, and heavenly blue border phrases from Song of Songs, Psalm and Jeremiah.
